There is this idea that massage is a "treat" that shouldn't be indulged in too often. Not true! Massage is an important component to a healthful life style. This is especially true today in our hurried, and often sedentary work life where hours are spent in front of a computer.

The body needs movement to function properly. Even our respiration needs support from movement to work optimally. The longer we sit, the more muscles become weak. The connective tissues, fascia, that surrounds individual muscles send out little fibers that, if left unchecked, will begin to connect the muscles together. This essentially "locks" the body. This why stretching and movement are so important. Regular massage sessions help to unlock the muscles, improve blood & lymph circulation and sooth the the central nervous system which can reduce stress and lends itself to well being.

Integrative modalities include:

General Massage

Trigger Point Therapy

Reiki (is not offered as stand alone treatment, but part of massage)

Deep Tissue

Precision Neuromuscular Therapy

Passive stretching
